Visit The Farm

At Leaning Post Acres, children learn best by getting their hands dirty, asking questions, and experiencing farm life firsthand. Our farm-based programs give children opportunities to explore animals, plants, food, nature, and the everyday work of a working farmstead.

From Toddler Tuesdays, where our youngest visitors can safely explore and connect with farm life alongside a grown-up, to Future Farmsteaders, our agricultural science program for ages 4–16, each experience is designed to meet children where they are and encourage curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

Explore our programs and find the experience that's right for your child.

Farm Visits & Homeschool

Bring your homeschool group, co-op, classroom, or community group to Leaning Post Acres for a hands-on farm experience. We can create private farm classes and group gatherings around animals, agriculture, gardening, homesteading, and seasonal farm life.

Field trips and private group experiences are scheduled by appointment. Email us to tell us about your group, what you're interested in learning, and the dates you're considering, and we'll work with you to create an experience that fits your group.
